What is Wired Network
A wired network can be defined as connecting computing devices physically with LAN cables (for internet) eg. 1/ connect a Gaming Desktop to the port of router by a LAN cable
2/ connect two wifi routers located in two rooms by LAN cable
Wifi Vs Wired Network
Wi-Fi is obviously more convenient than wired network – without physical wire but if your apartment is kind of long floor plan or multi stories, then the wifi signal come from the primary router in the living room probably too weak to be boosted up in master room for any internet activities. Many apartments have preinstalled Cat5e LAN cable inside the wall running around the whole flat/house If we can find them out and use these built in cable to join router in master room to the primary router in living room then high speed (same speed as the internet source) and reliable internet in master room is guaranteed . It is worthwhile to check for these built in cable in your apartment
Network Wiring
If no built in LAN cables found, the other choice is running cables from one room to another. A well planned, skilled hand and right type of material, laying cables from living room (source of internet) along the baseboards to the master room has presentable look. In return, you have the same internet speed in master room as in living room and this is the solution for a gaming desktop to has high internet speed.

Factors such as security measures, need for consistent connection, cost and size all play a part in this decision.
